Going green Subsidy
In Quebec, municipalities are encouraging the purchase of sustainable hygiene products (such as: ecological and sustainable menstrual protections, cloth diapers, eco-friendly soaps)
Their objective is to reduce the consumption of polluting single-use products.
Waste management has become a problematic issue for municipalities, so the solution is to reduce waste production at source.
To encourage the municipalities have set up a grant program for responsible purchasing, these municipalities have set up a subsidy program. Upon presentation of proof of purchase, you may be receive a refund.* And the good news is that Viita underwear are eligible for these refunds!
* Financial assistance programs are available until the allocated municipal budget is exhausted. You will find all the information on the municipalities' websites.
